Would you like to help us to make a difference? We need people like you to donate time, energy and experience in a variety of areas, in particular the following roles require your urgent attention:
Child Welfare Officer; This is a key role in the club and training will be provided, You will be responsible for the checking of new volunteers who want to hold positions in the club, maintaining high standards of behaviour making sure we apply the codes of conduct. Liaise with the West Riding County FA Safeguarding officer over any concerns.
Fundraiser/Sponsorship Officer: Liaise with parents, local companies and community projects to raise awareness, sponsorship opportunities and fundraising events. Build and maintain strong relationships with supporters of the club.
Kit & Equipment Officer: Co-ordinate with Managers and Suppliers to provide they best quality and value kit and equipment for the teams and coaches. Look at opportunities for increasing the clubs brand through additional merchandise. Scarves, hats, cups, car stickers etc. Ideally suited to someone who likes shopping for a bargain!
Social Events Organiser: Work with the Board member to develop a calendar of social events and activities including Christmas parties, end of year events, including presentation evening, key is making better use of the clubhouse.
Gala Organiser: Work with parents and managers to form a sub-committee of helpers to arrange the Gala programme, side-stalls, food and team invitations.
Social Media/Marketing Officer: Manage and maintain the website with club achievements, recent events and results. Encourage reports and photos from the age groups to share with the local media.
School Liaison Officer : Linking with the Woodkirk Academy Trust staff to develop strong links with the local feeder schools. Establishing good relationships and gaining access to school facilities and offering our facilities to local schools.
Coaches and Managers; We are always looking for the next manager and coach that can inspire our players if you are interested in coaching or managing a team then get in touch we want to hear from you, we can assist with coach education and training.
Club Secretary; With the club restructure we now need an organised person who can fulfil the club secretary role which will include supporting the Board to share communication from meetings with the wider membership. Help grow the club through working with the Board Directors, Head of Football and Football Development Officer on promotion and awareness.
Junior Leader Coordinator ; As a club we have a fantastic number of our older age group players taking their DofE, Sports Leaders Courses Junior Referees, they are amazing young people, we want to be able to harness that to help them develop the skills and experience to take that forward in life and also help us as a club
