Dave joined Woodkirk in 2004 as assistant coach and the team won Division 2 of the Garforth League to gain promotion to the first division in that year. Dave is a level 1 coach and very passionate about the game which he has loved since an early age. He still plays even at his still youthful age, which keeps him in touch with local open age football. Dave’s football philosophy is pass, move and quality football. “Let the game be the teacher”. The team was rebuilt at the start of last season and is now 15 players strong playing in Division 2 of the Huddersfield  League. The team went on the first Woodkirk tour abroad to Holland at the end of last season as a well, earned treat. The tour was so well received by the players and parents alike and they intend to organise another tour to Europe again this season.
Paul joined the coaching team at the start of last season and again is passionate about the game. Although new to coaching, Paul is looking forward not only progressing the current squad of players through the age brackets, but also his personal coaching qualifications with the support of the club. Paul is the quite side of the coaching staff, especially on match days.
