Bonfire and Firework Night

Another fantastic firework and bonfire event was held on Saturday 3rd November 2017.  Families from all over the community gathered at The Den as once again Woodkirk Valley hosted one of the  largest Firework displays and Bonfire. Saturday 13th October saw Woodkirk U16s play in the first round of the cup against Bradford City Girls.  Bradford who have had a good start to the season would be a stern test for the girls following on from the strong display against Worksop Town.  Unfortunately Bradford had a number of injuries from a squad of 15 with 2 girls picking up the sickness bug the night before the game. …

Last week saw the U16s travel to Queensbury for the first fixture against this club.  Luckily the weather was kind as this is one if the highest grounds in the country over looking Bradford.
